Quick Start

1. Create your account

Go to app.instassistant.io and sign up with your email address. You will receive a temporary password by email.

2. Set a permanent password

On first login you will be prompted to replace your temporary password. Choose something at least 12 characters long.

3. Launch InstAssistant

From your dashboard, click the Launch button in the Connect tile. Allow microphone access when prompted. Your assistant will greet you within a few seconds.

4. Have a conversation

Speak naturally. InstAssistant will listen and respond through your browser speakers. You can ask questions, discuss articles you have been following, or simply chat.

5. Adjust settings

Visit Voice Tuning in the sidebar to personalise response style, speaking pace, and focus topics.

Voice Tuning

The Voice Tuning panel (accessible from the sidebar in your portal) lets you control how your assistant sounds and responds.

Speaking pace

Adjust the words-per-minute rate of responses. Lower values feel more deliberate; higher values speed up interactions once you are comfortable.

Pitch

Shift the voice pitch up or down to find a tone that suits your preference for extended listening.

Response style

Choose between concise (short, direct answers) and conversational (richer, more detailed responses). You can switch at any time.

Topic focus

Provide a short list of subjects your assistant should prioritise when offering context and commentary — for example: technology, finance, cycling.

Applying changes

All voice tuning settings are saved automatically and take effect the next time you launch a session. In-progress sessions are not affected.
